Technical Manager - Paul Crichton

When Priory Records was founded in 1980 by Paul Crichton and Neil Collier, the recordings were engineered and produced by Paul Crichton, to a high standard which is still attained today.

As the company has expanded over the years, Paul now concentrates on post- production (i.e. digital editing of all Priory's recordings), although he still very much enjoys recording on location when time allows. As Technical Manager, he works on a freelance basis as Priory's technical consultant and supervises every Priory recording through the various stages of the production process, through to the final Digital Audio Tape which is used by the factory for commercial production.
