This is a real first! Thomas Tudway was organist at King's College, Cambridge but his music is completely unknown today, although similarities with Purcell can be heard. It has been resurrected and edited by Stephen Bullamore. Tudway's grand and expanded setting of the "Wimpole" Te Deum is the main work of the CD. A real "must" for early music fans.
